We were really nervous about leaving Flo, especially as she is so young and we were so pleased with her temperament that we didn't want anything to change her. They are sensitive to the needs of both us and our gorgeous hound and instilled confidence from the outset. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to put your beloved pet/family member in the hands of (initially) strangers and to know he will be well looked after, safe and well handled. We wanted our dog, Bruce, to be with a family rather than go to a shelter/kennel whilst we were out of the UK for 3 weeks. (Bruce had already had adequate care in a shelter previously but had become used to life with us) so we found Animal Magic on the internet. Maria visited, and met Bruce and us all, and also later on walked Bruce with us to assess him. She then carefully outlined the steps necessary for Bruce to be looked after by Animal Magic (items needed to be taken for his care etc). Bruce returned to us fit, and clearly had been well looked after. Though enthusiastic to see us again, it was clear that he had been better looked after (in terms of long, regular walks) than we sometimes provide...we suspect that if Bruce could talk, he'd ask to go back to his "Animal Magic" family. Also Maria visited our house regularly whilst we were away, and kindly left us milk & heating for our first day's return. We have no hesitation in recommending Animal Magic to any dog owner wanting their pet to be well looked after.

The dog walking service has enabled us to have a dog and not feel guilty about leaving himecause Maria will be into take him on a great walk.
